The University of Deusto has been invited by Biscay’s Council of Seniors to chair a Working Commission that is currently working on the analysis of the WHO Guide for Age Friendly Cities, and other examples that have been established in the region in order to make recommendations for the Council and the provincial government.
These analyses and recommendations will help the implementation of the programme Bizkaia, Territorio Amigable, which aims at promoting the undertaking of age friendly strategies in the municipalities of Biscay.
The Commission is chaired by the University of Deusto and involves the participation of different organisations and associations of seniors.
