On 07 November 2018, the University of Deusto organised a training session on Intellectual Property Rights and Data Management in research projects. The session counted with the participation of more than 20 DEUSTO researchers that together with the keynote speakers Mariano Nieto Navarro (Head of the Documentation Service of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office) and Ignasi Labastida i Juan (Head of the CRAI Research and Innovation Unit, University of Barcelona) discussed:
- IPRs: What are IPRs and how do they affect research? Actions necessary for the protection of intellectual property; Tools and institutions of reference.
- Data Management: Data management in European projects; Obligations and interests; Key concepts for data management.
