The team aims at promoting cooperative practices in situations of extreme crisis and economic internationalisation, centring on people, sustainable development, social justice and fair globalisation. It analyses how labour relations are adapting to the needs of the 21st century.

Communication

This team analyses the challenges posed by the communication society in its different realms, including the impact of media on gender issues.

Deusto Learning

Deusto Learning deals with the use of technology to increase the interest of youth in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) areas and encourage them to pursue a technological or engineering career, with special focus on girls.

The research team focuses on the connections between values, equality, society, democracy, welfare and social policy. It addresses transversal variables, such as family, work, politics, identities, tolerance.

The team’s research centres on social economy and solidarity organisations such as cooperatives, employee-owned companies, insertion companies, social businesses and others. Particular emphasis is placed on their particular features, values, operating principles and the positive economic, social and environmental effects.

The Mutation of Public Power and Transnational Law

The aim of the research team is to analyse society vs. globalisation and the legal implications of this analysis. It addresses economic globalisation, business and markets.
