Gender equality is a transversal topic in the Master Degrees of the University of Deusto. It is given a particular focus in the course subject Society, Family and Education. The objective is to design and develop learning spaces with a special attention to equity, emotional education and values, equal rights and opportunities for men and women, civic education and respect for human rights facilitating life in society, decision-making and building a more sustainable future. The learning outcomes are to promote everyday life activities that empower gender equality, to participate in projects with families for the development of skills, the promotion of the rights and freedoms, and to ensure equal opportunities. The respect of equal rights, opportunities and non-discrimination treatment are covered in the following Deusto’s Master Degrees.
